Saw this thread only after cleaning it up from some spam.

You can also use the cut with bounding box tool in zephyr. That will create new polygons from the intersection, creating a clean cut like requested, so you don't need to exit zephyr to achieve that

Hi kafkaf21 - The selection tool selects the mesh polygons which is why you see the jagged edges - It's currently not possible to achieve what you are after in Zephyr.

I'd recommend checking out Plane Cut Tool in Meshmixer (https://www.meshmixer.com/) (Tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BaNGNgTKSZE)

3ds Max uses the "slice" modifier - maybe blender has something similar like this youtube

Hes using a cube to cut a cube, but you can use a 2d plane to get a slice effect

    Hi,
Us there a way to cut the mesh smoothly?
When I use the selection tool they select the polygons, leaving jagged edges like this:

I need to cut it smoothly like this:

If this cannot be done in 3df, can it be done in blender and if yes, what is the best, and easiest way to achieve a smooth cut??
Working...
