  • Control point accuracy

    Hi folks,

    regarding control points:
What is more important for accuracy:

    - to get low local and global values between the images, which are used for GCP
    - or to get just visually close to the first point? (and ignore the circle and the epiloar line)

    Best regards
    Stephan

    Hi jupp2000

    Both are important to observe!

Ideally both the values will be low and the visuals should closely match.

If the values and visuals don't match then it's likely that you have camera mis-orientation.

      Hi cam3d,
      thank you!
I have no problem with low values or visual matching. But i can“t have it all together
It is strange, because generally i get nice models, but when GCP comes into play, i have to fiddle around, until the points are visually ok.
      At the end it fits...somehow...mostly.
But next time i will try to fit both parts together.

jupp2000 is your subject completely rigid? Or is it possible that the shape changed between the two scans?
