    Texture issues after mMesh modifying

    Hi erveryone,

We excavated some walls in a ditch in an old monastery. Now we have this long ditch and some modern pipes crossing it. When I remove the pipes in the mesh so I can focus on the walls and sediments, the texture quality decreases. The cameras that pointed to those pipes now reflect in the texture behind the removed object, the colour of the texture changes. How can I avoid that when removing an object in the mesh, the cameras wont project/affect the texture of layers an object behind said removed object?

    Cheers
    Peter

    Hi,

if you remove the geometry then it's normal that the camera will project "behind" what's on the pipes, if I understand correctly the scenario.

If this is the case, you want to mask out what you don't need using masquerade and then load the masks when appropriate.
