    Hi nono_sax,

it's hard to tell from one image alone, however:

    - if you're moving the subject, make sure to mask the background
    - try having better lighting in your scene, as moving shadows will make the scene harder, especially when dealing with uniform surfaces
    - uniform surfaces such plastic are hard to capture due to light shining and lack of features: if this is your first experience with photogrammetry, i suggest starting with something easier. This subject can be done but requires a good understanding on how you need to set your camera and lights to get good images. You may need a lot of overlap as well, due to the lack of feature.

you can share the dataset with us at support@3dflow.net if you'd like more specific details.

I made another one with 8% of light from the ceiling (instead 2%), and exposure time back to 2 sec. I think it's better: we have less noise.

    Hi everyone,

    I made other tests.
Everything black in the photo booth.
I added lights under the bust to avoid shadows.
With f/11, ISO100, exposure time 4 sec, here is what I get.

What do you think about ?

    Thanks

    Hi nightingale,

it looks like you have less detail simply because you are not looking at the reconstructed mesh with lights on in zephyr. Click on the lightbulb to see it, and eventually disable colors.

    Hi Andrea,

I think there is a misunderstanding.
I was speaking about the imported mesh in Maya.
As you can see on the screenshot (left) we have less details in front of the mesh in Zephyr (right). For example on the hair region.

    I do not understand why.

    Thank you.

    Hi Nightingale,

you are looking at the model in Zephyr with lights turned off. Click the lightbulb icon in order to enable lighting in Zephyr.

    Hi again,

I have to add some LEDs below the bust.
In the mean time, I exported the model (part of the face) to Maya as OBJ file.
I do not understand why I don't get the same model. In Maya. It seems I lost some resolution.
    Please see attached file.

    Thanks.

You should figure out your own lighting setup. The thing is you need good, sharp focus, with diffused lighting. Please also refer to this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E06k...ature=youtu.be

Adjusting photos in photoshop is usually a bad idea. If you do, make sure to never crop , rotate or undistort your images.

I can also give more light (LEDS = 70%) ?

It's less noisy, but a bit too dark now. Try a longer exposure time until the image is clear and sharp! If possible avoid direct lights and make them more diffused so that you avoid highlights.
