You an use a laptop with Zephyr successfully - I personally have a Gigabyte Sabre 15.
16GB RAM (expandable - Don't get less than 16GB! More is better - but comes at a cost, naturally)
i7 8750h (6c/12t)
1050ti
-- Wouldn't want to process with anything less that this because you'll be processing very slowly (especially with a less powerful GPU)
-- Another thing to note - The airflow in laptops is not as great as a desktop - They are not designed for massive amounts of intense processing so may not last as long as a laptop under regular load.
