8 mm lens

Hello,
I use Meike 8mm fish eye with an APS-C Camera. All images are recognized, but surfaces and corners get "wavy". Almost no straight lines. I used the calibration tool (value under 1).

I do just architecture scans, and I need sharp edges and flat surfaces. Should I use an different lens?

Hi pixelboxx,

it's hard to tell why you're having noisy surfaces without looking at the images.

Most likely, since you do architecture scans, i think you are dealing with uniform walls (e.g. plain, big walls) which are hard to reconstruct. If that's the case, consider using a projector or dirtying the surface is possible.
