How to create 3D models that have the same size as the real object?

    Hello,

I did some tests with different objects and the size of the 3D model, in the end, is not the same as the real object.
How can I get a correct 3D model with the same size (+/- 1mm)?

    Thanks!

    Hi garhol,

all reconstructions are initially up to an arbitrary scale.

It is up to you to rescale the subject using at least a known measurement in the scene.

The best way is using control points (available in the full version of zephyr) for greater accuracy and control - see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQozgfnKBM8 and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZtcJOZOstU

Alternatively, a less accurate way is still possible also in free and lite editions, see here for a tutorial http://support.3dflow.net/support/so...-free-and-lite
