unable to navigate pan the 3D scene in 3DZephyr Lite trial

    Hi
Is there tech help from the makers as need to ask some very important questions of them.
Meanwhile, installed trial 3D Zephyr Lite, opened a set of jpgs, though drag drop refused to work, had to browse, processed them, then the result is sittng far right, almost off screen, and I cannot pan it to centre ,
its still far right half out of view,

tried shift key and LMB (as per Rhino3D) , also RMB (as per Agisoft), scroll wheel, the arrow icon. Tutorial Video says LMB does pan, not for me it doesnt. Tutorial video has icons I dont see in latest Lite trial !.
RMB and drag works on agisoft, but the methods of Agisoft dont work at all, need to marry the methods for quick workflow, can keys and mouse buttons be set up to match those for Rhino and Agisoft else this is going to be hell to toggle back and forth with.
    Agisoft has:-
    RMB pans
numpad 5 toggles ortho or perspective
    Numpad 2 front, 4 lhs, 9 top, 6 rhs, 1 underside.
    LMB rotates and orbits
when lined up to grid, select region set to view, then resize region to make region sit near the object, select crawling ants tool and drag select within region then invert selection and delete, do that top front and side and now all unwanted stuff gone.
then build model, then textured mode.

Can Zephyr be made to match those moves and keys ?

In Agisoft , with high res dSLR canon R6 MkII pics, all top notch best there is, I am getting figures as if made of scrunched up and unrolled cooking foil covered in gloopy porridge, yet figure was dead still, I see a figure mode in Zephyr, hoping that is far better than lousy Agisoft.

    Cheers

    Hi DBenz

Welcome to the 3DF Zephyr forum. I'll answer your questions and concerns as best I can:

    - Zephyr has been independantly developed, so workflows you are used to following in other programs will naturally require adaptation to work in Zephyr. Not everything will be possible to emulate exactly.

    - I just tested drag and drop with Lite 8.007 and it worked as expected. Make sure to select all the images you wish to import, then drag over to the Zephyr UI - This will initiate the project wizard and include the selected images automatically.

    - Reconstructions are centered by distribution of data, which suggests you have floating points constructed beyond the subject itself. With the Editing panel (righthand side of the GUI) you can select the subject, invert the selection, then delete the outliers. Once the outliers are deleted, your model should be center view.

    - There are three different navigation styles

Click image for larger version Name:	navStyles.png Views:	0 Size:	1.8 KB ID:	9930

Either arrow circle enables panning by mouse wheel held down.

    - Tools>Options>Input enables custom key mapping

    - Photogrammetry requires high quality source images for high quality results, regardless of software chosen. Stick to general default settings whilst you're getting started, for example the human body mode is designed for human body multi-camera systems, not arbritary single camera captures.
