Hi,
Having eventually, and the nav methods are not intuitive, managed to see up close my test item, and somehow overcome it being chopped away as I move in closer, when I want to see the actual physical mesh quality, right click and two menus deep, is mesh_1, select it and whoosh my close up view is lost, I have to zoom in all over again, then revert to texture and whoosh I am looking at a lot of blackness, and need to zoom in all over again.
I want to compare the apparent good texture to what actually the surface is like, and cannot do that if this happens.
How do I stay zoomed in and toggle between the mauve coloured (its mauve in Agisoft) scrunched up cooking foil view (model - solid) (and how do I see that view, yet to find it) and the textured view where things look a lot better than they really are ?
as once the mesh is into blender or rhino the mess that it is will be seen for sure.
In Agisoft as selectable options in the drop down on tool bar are:-
Model - Textured
Model - solid
Model-wireframe-
model - confidence
but these four most essential options I dont see here.
Where is the option to see the single coloured -'cooking foil scrunched up and unravelled' which shows you how good the actual surface and detail is ?
THE MOST CRITICAL VIEW OF ALL.
as add in the picture and a far better than reality view is given you.
The logical steps in Agosuft are:-
align photos, then we see a dense point cloud, werotate the model on orhto view, then select a range box and resize it to crop the model, then select the points within the box and invert and delete
3D Zephr a selection is found hidden in a drop down menu, do that then ctrl I inverts (my guess as no menu for that) and hit delete., repeat for all 3 ortho views, front top and side.
Create model. get a mauve solid as if made of cooking foil etc. Trim away the unwanted areas. Zephyr no obvious trim tools on toolbar.
Create textured model.
Could do with knowing where these tools and views are in Zephyr. as what takes me seconds is a struggle at the mo.
anfd I am totally unable to pan even when in ortho view and have the orbit mode selected, ctrl and LMB CAUSES SCENE TO ROTATE.
