“Win 3DF Zephyr” Contest 2017

To celebrate our fresh videotutorial series “3DFlow Academy“, we are happy to announce the second “Win 3DF Zephyr” contest!

The contest is open to everyone, and with the recent addition of 3DF Zephyr Free you really have no excuse!

First Prize: one (1) 3DF Zephyr Pro full license (includes 12 months of updates)

Runner up: one (1) 3DF Zephyr Lite full license (includes 12 months of updates)

Be creative! There is no theme for this contest, so surprise us! The best reconstructions (both on a technical and an artistic point of view) will be rewarded with 3DF Zephyr!

For this contest, we are adding a limit to 50 photos for two reasons: anyone can now join, even with 3DF Zephyr Free, and you will be forced to take good photographs in order to make a better model 🙂

Contest rules:

  1. You must take your own pictures (use new pictures 🙂 )
  2. You must use only a maximum of 50 photos per reconstruction
  3. You must reconstruct your subject with any version of 3DF Zephyr
  4. You must submit your entry on the 3DFlow Academy Facebook Group before Monday, November 20th, 2017 in the appropriate, dedicated thread.
  5. You must not vote yourself 🙂 a community-driven poll will run for a week after the end of the submission date in order to choose the winners!
  6. Multiple submissions are welcome

In order to enter the contest simply:

  1. Download and install 3DF Zephyr (Free, Lite – free trial available here – or any other version is okay!)
  2. Choose your subject and reconstruct it with 3DF Zephyr using only a maximum of newly taken 50 photos
  3. Upload your 3D model(s) to Sketchfab, YouTube or other platforms
  4. Post a link to your model(s) on the 3Dflow Academy Facebook Group
  5. You’re done! Make sure you have uploaded your 3D model and posted the link before November 20th

We will announce the winner on our website and social media pages.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. ENTRY IN THIS CONTEST CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES.

The Win 3DF Zephyr Competition (the “Contest“) is designed to encourage eligible people to use their creativity to create their own contest-themed 3D reconstruction. Judges will choose the winning entries, and prizes will be awarded in accordance with these Official Rules (these “Rules“).

BINDING AGREEMENT: In order to enter the Contest, you must agree to the Rules. Therefore, please read these Rules prior to entry to ensure you understand and agree. You agree that submission of an entry in the Contest constitutes agreement to these Rules. You may not submit an entry to the Contest and are not eligible to receive the prizes described in these Rules unless you agree to these Rules. These Rules form a binding legal agreement between you and 3DFlow SRL with respect to the Contest.

ELIGIBILITY: To be eligible to enter the Contest, an Entrant must adhere to the rules and be the original creator of the posted content. Contest is void where prohibited by law. Employees, interns, contractors, and official office-holders of 3DFlow SRL, subsidiaries, affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, advertising and promotion agencies, representatives, and agents (“Contest Entities“), and members of the Contest Entities’ and their immediate families (parents, siblings, children, spouses, and life partners of each, regardless of where they live) and members of the households (whether related or not) of such employees, officers and directors as well as the national winners from previous years are ineligible to participate in this Contest. There is a limitation to one prize per person.

CONTEST PERIOD: The Contest begins on November 4th, 2017 00:00 (GMT+1 Zone ) and ends on November 19th, 2017, 23:59 (GMT +1Zone) (“Contest Period“). All dates are subject to change.

HOW TO ENTER: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. To enter the Contest, visit the Contest website located at https://www.3dflow.net (“Contest Site“) during the Contest Period and follow the instructions that appear on the dedicated page. You will be requested to download and use 3DF Zephyr to reconstruct a subject of your choosing according to the contest rules. Submissions must be uploaded directly from 3DF Zephyr to sketchfab with no post processing.

JUDGING: Each entry will be evaluated and scored based on the following “Criteria”: (i) artistic and technical skills (ii) creativity and originality – (iii) adherence to the Contest Requirements and these Rules.

VERIFICATION: 3Dflow will require the winners to share their .zep files and/or photos in order to confirm the adherence to the contest requirements and rules.

PRIZES: One (1) full, non transferable 3DF Zephyr Pro license will be awarded to the winner. One (1) full, non transferable 3DF Zephyr Lite license will be awarded to the runner up. Tie(s) will be judged by 3Dflow SRL staff.
