We have released a free version of 3DF Samantha that can be used for research / non-commercial purposes. 3DF Samantha is our structure from motion technology. Starting from a set of photos, you can get the cameras relative positions and orientations along with a 3D reconstruction of the scene by means of a sparse point cloud. The uncalibrated version can also automatically estimate the intrinsic parameters (e.g. focal length). Even if exif are not present.
With the release we have also took the occasion to open a forum on our website. This will serve as support for this and for any future software release. Please feel free to write any suggestion / question / criticism you may have.
